Calico, CA. Just east of Barstow. Slightly kitschy at times, but worth a look as you flee from LA towards Vegas. Fryings pans and fires ain't in it.

yes, virginia, it is a building made of bottles. questions arise and flitter around like butterflies:
Do the bottles keep the building cooler or hotter?
What happens in a hundred more years when the glass, in keeping with it's liquid nature, follows the inexorable path of gravity?
Did they have to drink them all during construction?
