A Bike in Limbo.
This is a Surly Karate Monkey. The photo below is a prototype that made the rounds in the fall of 2002. I have my name on a list, and a frame should show up in early to mid Feb. As of right now I have all of the parts needed to build the bike.
The idea. A 29" wheeled, disk braked singlespeed.

Brooks Ti saddle.
Race Face Turbine LP 180 mm cranks
Race Face Signature Ti Isis BB
Paul W.O.R.D. front hub and DT Swiss Onyx rear hub, laced to Alex TD17 rims.
Salsa skewers
Salsa Grips.
Some sort of chain.
Wheels are ready. Front hub is a Paul WORD, rear is a DT Swiss Onyx.
