We had plans to do a porc shuttle early the next morning before heading
out. And I woke up early to romp the dog and procure breakfast. I
walked around Moab for a bit, ducked back into the room and when I next
went out it was raining. Not just sprinkling, but
raining. And cold. So
we packed up and headed out. Jason went out through Castle Valley, I
wandered up into Arches to see what it looked like in the rain.
The storm rolled over and broke up while I was there. The skies lifted
their skirts to let a little bit of sun peek through and reveal a fresh
layer of white up on Porc. Good thing we didn't force the issue. Thirst
Undocumented volcano in Colorado? Nope, just the sun burning off the
moisture near Palisades.
