We had plans to do a porc shuttle early the next morning before heading out. And I woke up early to romp the dog and procure breakfast. I walked around Moab for a bit, ducked back into the room and when I next went out it was raining. Not just sprinkling, but raining. And cold. So we packed up and headed out. Jason went out through Castle Valley, I wandered up into Arches to see what it looked like in the rain.

The storm rolled over and broke up while I was there. The skies lifted their skirts to let a little bit of sun peek through and reveal a fresh layer of white up on Porc. Good thing we didn't force the issue. Thirst or drowning.

Undocumented volcano in Colorado? Nope, just the sun burning off the moisture near Palisades.
