I did another trip with Magpie Adventures. This was a 60 mile point to point ride through Lockhart Basin. The Basin lies just east of Canyonlands National Park and South of Moab. A nice chunk of country. We Left Moab in the chilly pre-dawn darkness and drove south tot he Needles District of Canyonlands.
We geared up just after sunrise.
I know, I know. It looks like boring jeep road, but there were some deliciously technical sections out there. Made all the more interesting due to the erosional redistribution of rock and dirt courtesy of the recent Noachian rains out thataway.
