The Colorado Rockies and Late September. A perfect recipe for golden aspen leaves. This ride is about as straightforward as it gets. The trailhead is right off the interstate. The trail climbs up a jeep road for a few miles and then twists its way through aspen groves and meadows all the way back down to the lot. Good fun all in all.
