July 4th, 2006. Plans were laid out with designs on Reno/Flag/Bear/Deadman's. I started this ride feeling a tad off. Low energy. But hey, it's Crested Butte. Ya gotta ride no matter what.
Idyllic conditions and hardly anyone else out on the trails.
Bear was so enjoyable that we decided to head down further, to the base of Rosebud gulch, and climb up to Deadman's from there.
One is all you need.
