This is at the meadow at the 15 mile mark (more or less...it's the only open meadow in this section of trail. When you get here, no matter how tired you are, and assuming that there are no electrical storms chasing you around, by all means hike up to the top of the meadow to take in the views of the Sangres and of Taos.
