We have fallen into a habit of making incursions up into the Jedediah Smith Wilderness, which is very near her house. It is amazing to be able to get up into very remote feeling places.
We also took a spin on one of the local rail trails.
The Bitch Creek Trestle. Quite an alarming thing to pedal across, really.
And of course, Grendel's favorite place to play ball in the whole wide world. Her backyard has a little creek and a pond and long grassy hill to run up and down. Views too.
